I give you, a small section of my constantly growing bucket list.
1. Visit Broadway.2. Learn to play rare instruments. Like pan-pipes, and a concertina.3. Direct a play, or movie. (If not both)4. Ride in a hot air balloon.5. See Australia, and Ireland. (Strange contrast, I know)6. Say, "You, you, and you, COME WITH ME!" In perfect context.7. Publish a book... that I wrote.8. Leave a bouquet of flowers on someone's doorstep for May Day.9. Leave someone totally speechless.10. Write the script for a tv series. (At least the first season)11. Write a novel entirely on an old fashioned typewriter...12. Acquire an old fashioned typewriter.

My sister and I always used to do May Day flowers. Unfortunately, we live in the country, land of really long driveways, and we never got away without being seen. Our 90-something neighbor said, "I remember doing this when I was little! It brings back such memories!" :)
ReplyDeleteYou have a very interesting bucket list. :)
ReplyDeleteI think #8 is a very sweet thing to do, something I'll have to remember next time.
#9 sounds pretty good too. I don't know when I'll be able to do that to someone though. ;)
I would totally like to do #7. It's been a dream of mine since the age of 13.
Here's a post of some of my bucket list items that I did recently:

Oh, I want to do #6! In some kind of adventure situation - not necessarily an emergency, nothing too scary, but ... maybe in an ancient tomb, or a windswept plain, or something. :-)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely also #3, #5, #7, #9, and #10. What fun!
Love in Christ,
Vicki
What is so amazing with Australia? Seriously, it's not that awesome.. but then, I live there. If you do end up coming to Oz... remember we have no candy here, we have lollies!
ReplyDeleteThat would be amazing to write a novel on a typewriter! When you do, be sure and blog about it. :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, writing a bucket list for a giveaway? Sounds like fun to me!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great list, Georgie, and I wish you the best of luck in making it all happen!
And I definitely agree. I would love to leave flowers on May Day. :)
