Isn't she adorable? She's certainly one of my favorite actresses. I love her attitude. She helped build the film world. She was born in Belgium, blue-blood from the start. You could tell too, just by the way she moved. She had an amazing voice.
Without hesitation, Rex Harrison named her as his favorite leading lady.
She died January 20, 1993. Sad day. I think I'll watch My Fair Lady on the 20th. In a way, she'll almost be alive again.
I like Audrey. =)
ReplyDeleteShe is too gorgeous! Roman Holiday is one of my favourite films and mostly because of the poise and elegance of Audrey Hepburn.
ReplyDeleteAs for my hair (thanks for commenting by the way, and it wasn't a weird question at all) I try to straighten it out as often as I can. It usually lasts on average four days before I need to rewash my hair and start over again (it also takes about half an hour or so to get every little bit tamed, so I try to limit how many times a week I do it.)
I can stand my hair natural, but I try and straighten it when we got places in the morning, to save time fixing whatever mess it woke up looking like :)
I like Audrey...I just haven't seen her in a lot of movies that I liked. My Fair Lady, definitely. Charade, with Cary Grant, was okay, if a little bizzare. But her best film EVER was How to Steal a Million, with Peter O'Toole.
ReplyDeleteAt least in this person's humble O.
